Miley Cyrus, star of television, stage, and film has really been off of the radar since her Gypsy Heart tour ended this summer. That is not to say that she has not been busy. She has working hard on her foundation, Starkey Hearing Foundation. This initiative, which she wants to get out to fans is to take a “vow to act” so that they can ensure that they do not suffer any hearing loss. People not just fans can help protect their hearing by doing simple things like turning down the volume on their MP3 players and cell phones as well as getting their hearing checked consistently.
As far as entertainment, she plans to return to her acting career but not on television, instead the big screen. LOL, a movie she filmed earlier this year with Demi Moore, stars Miley the character Lola. Lola is bad girl who is trying to explore her more wilder side and dabbles in drugs. The role of a wild child, bad girl, is a far cry from the 18 year old’s days as Hannah Montana. Miley seems to be excited to be able to flex her acting chops and do movies that are so different from anything else fans have seen her do. This maybe why she chose to do such a controversial kiss scene in the movie. Oh, yes, her fans will be very surprised to see her kissing another female in the movie, LOL. Demi Moore, who plays her mother, said that she enjoyed working with Miley. Although there was a bit of a setback in terms of the release of the movie, it has been confirmed that, LOL is set for a spring 2010 release.
Aside from work, Miley has been enjoying her personal, free time with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
