Miss Miley

Ok, so I just read this article that Billboard ranked Miley 10 on their “21 under 21″ list. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Taylor Swift was number 1 and I like Tay Swift, but there’s no way she is better than Miley. Yes, she has more songs but is more always better? NO! No one rocks like Miley, she’s so versatile. Taylor’s songs are good but they mostly sound pretty similar. On the other hand, Miley has songs like “The Climb” which could pass for a Swift song, but also makes Hannah Montana fun songs, punk-like songs like “7 Things” and I almost forgot about “Can’t Be Tamed,” which is just like old Britney stuff.The article said Justin Bieber was number 2. Seriously? Oh my god, put a plaid shirt on him and watch Ellen and Portia break up LOL! I know a lot of girls like him but honestly I just don’t see the appeal. His songs are sweet but I personally don’t think he’s genuine. I mean, has he ever even had a girlfriend? How does he know all about love? Miley makes me want to singgggg! But she’s way better than I am, haha. Oh well, at least I can listen. I’m rockin these tunes on my Miley playlist right now, in this order. I put my favorite ones first because I just can’t wait to hear them. LOL, I’m impatient…

1. Can’t Be Tamed (Can’t Be Tamed) Miley’s newest hit song, YAY! To all the people who thought they could tame Miley, guess what? YOU CAN’T! Cool costumes and dancing in the video too.
2. See You Again (Meet Miley Cyrus) I love this one because I’m totally awkward like she is in the song (but obviously not in real life cuz she always has a boyfriend). You know, st- st- st- stutterin Come on, you know you can relate.
3. Party in the USA (The Time of Our Lives EP) Who cares about Jay-Z? And Britney is so old now, a Miley song should always be on!!! This song is just fun, I don’t care who you are or where you are, but yay for America and Miley!
4. Nobody’s Perfect (Hannah Montana 2) If you think Hannah Montana is just a kid’s show think again. I bet most adults would like it too if they gave it a chance. Songs like this are just so wise and stuff. We may think Miley’s life is perfect, but like the lyrics say, nobody’s is.
5. The Climb (Hannah Montana: The Movie Soundtrack) This is a cool, inspirational song if you’re having a bad day. It might be slow for some people, but I still like it. Goes great with ice cream! Read the rest of this entry »

Miley has only been on the big screen for a few years now but she’s already my favorite! Why? Because of these totally awesome movies! Check them out!!!

1. Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009) Duh. What could be better than watching Hannah Montana on TV? Going to the movies and watching an hour and a half of Hannah, plus popcorn!
2. The Last Song (2010) For people who didn’t think Miley could play a real, deep character not trapped on a kids network, well believe it!!! Miley rocked out without a microphone, but her songs could be heard in the background anyway, making the movie even better.
3. Bolt (2008) Oh my god, I didn’t even know that Penny was Miley until like last month! The movie was super cute though and she did so good. Read the rest of this entry »

Why is everyone always hating on Miley these days? I just don’t get it. She’s 17! And besides, it’s not like she’s a normal 17 anyways that’s like 30 in celebrity years. She is old enough to make her own decisions, plus she’s so successful she can do whatever she wants in her free time cuz she works so hard!I think the one that gets me the most is the whole “lap dance” controversy. How can you even call that a controversy? For people who might not have heard about it, Miley was dancing up on the producer of The Last Song and all of a sudden the media decided to make a big deal about it. If you watch the YouTube clip, it’s not like she’s doing anything too over the top. I don’t know if anyone has been to a school dance lately, but oh my god it’s a style, that’s just what people do! I guess it makes sense that people think he is too old to be dancing with her at the time, but the guy was gay so it’s not like she was trying to get with him or he was trying to get with her!
